Madalena is an energy medicine practitioner.
Since 2018 she has been on a deep energy medicine journey having been initiated into Reiki and Sekhem lineages, being a Sekhem Advanced practitioner.
Her connection with plants has deepened over the years, working closely with them since 2019. She worked extensively with hemp for 2 years – being a plant alchemist at 7 Sister Portuguese Hemp project – and in 2022 she was initiated into Tobacco – a sacred master plant teacher – by her teacher Victoria Padma Khandro.
For the past 3 years, she’s been extensively training in trauma and in understanding its fundamentals, multidimensional and metaphysic approaches. To be a more comprehensive trauma-informed healing practitioner.
Since 2021 she’s been working in retreat settings where she’s assisted with things like administration, registration, logistics, cooking, and since her more extensive training in Space Holding she’s having further responsibilities in those settings such as co-hosting the annual Mystery School activities in Glen Lyon and being a retreat coordinator at the Burren Yoga and Meditation Retreat centre (since early 2023).
In 2023 she supported her teacher Victoria Padma Khandro assisting tribal activities with Toltec elders from Mexico, Irish wisdom keepers and the druids, both in Amatlán, Mexico and in Glastonbury, UK. Part of these activities, Madalena was spaceholding at the sacred fire at the Fireside Stories at the Common area of Glastonbury Festival 2023.
Madalena is a practitioner of Kalachakra Tantra – the Tantra of World Peace with Kentrul Rinpoché from the Jonang Lineage.
She’s been working in pioneer and visionary projects, and intergenerationally for over 5 years, being a co-founder of Dharma STARS. Some of the previous projects she was part of are Self-Worth Academy, Raiz de Portugal, 7 Irmãs, Lotus Consciousness, Dharma STARS.
Madalena is a bridge between the youth and the elders.
